USA Internship

After completing the Professional Cooking or Professional Baking & Pastry training at USLA and finishing their mandatory internship, students are eligible for paid, hands-on internship in the USA.
Training Details

Backed by 30 years of proven training achievements of AHA IHMS, USLA offers its students the chance to join internship programs at the USA branches of world-famous hotels including Marriott, Hilton, Ritz Carlton, Westinn, Starwood, Holiday Inn and Radisson along with many business chains and prestigious restaurants to real world gain experience in their profession.

J-1 VISA SPONSORSHIP

AHA IHMS offers J-1 visa sponsorship, legally approved by the US Government. Through this law, we offer all our students the DS-2019 form (every student that will have training in the USA must have this legal document) or the J-1 Exchange Program Certificate.











Spain Internship

Working at Michelin star restaurants and hotels that offer the unique tastes of Spain and learning the Spanish cuisine at its heart, USLA students attain the opportunity to gain experience for both career and personal development.

Training Details

After completing the Professional Cooking or Professional Baking & Pastry training at USLA and finishing their mandatory internship, students are eligible for three to twelve months paid, hands-on internship in Spain.

Opportunities included in the Spain Internship;

  • Careers at 5 star hotels and Michelin Star restaurants
  • Free accommodation and free food & drinks throughout the internship
  • Monthly salary at the hotels throughout the internship
  • Invitation letter and service contract (required for the internship)
  • "NIE" (A number that will act as your identity during your stay in Spain, and the residence permit card with your number on it.)
  • Learning a foreign language during the internship
  • For all internship types, the student should make their choice and initiate the process 4-5 months in advance or earlier.
  • Employers shall register the student into the Turkish Social Security Institution, creating their social insurance record.

Portugal Internship

Working at Michelin star restaurants and hotels that offer the unique tastes of Portugal and learning the international cuisine at its heart, USLA students attain the opportunity to gain experience for both career and personal development.
Training Details

After completing the Professional Cooking or Professional Baking & Pastry training at USLA and finishing their mandatory internship, students are eligible for three to six months paid, hands-on internship in Portugal.

Opportunities included in the Portugal Internship;

  • Careers at 5 star hotels and Michelin Star restaurants
  • Free food & drinks throughout the internship
  • Monthly salary at the hotels throughout the internship
  • Invitation letter and service contract (required for the internship)
  • Learning a foreign language during the internship
  • For all internship types, the student should make their choice and initiate the process 4-5 months in advance or earlier.
  • Employers shall register the student into the Turkish Social Security Institution, creating their social insurance record.

Graduates who wish to be an intern at Michelin Star restaurants will be eligible for free accommodation and free food & drinks throughout the internship, but won't receive any salary.
